Police looking for 2 suspects after robbery in Barrhaven
Two people are on the run from Ottawa police after they coerced a clerk into getting them into a money vault in a south-end community.
Officials said the incident happened a month ago in the 4000 block of Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven. Police describe the situation as a commercial robbery. It happened around 6:23 p.m. when two men entered the business and forced the clerk to access the vault, the press release reads.
One of the suspects was armed with a firearm, police said.
Suspect 1 is described as white, at the time of the incident he was wearing a black jacket with fur-lined hood and black pants.
The second suspect is white and in his 30s, officials believe. At the time, he was wearing a black jacket with fur-lined hood, black plants and a grey mask covering his face.
