Ottawa police looking for public’s assistance in search for 24-year-old
The Ottawa police are asking for help in the search for a 24-year-old woman who was last seen Sunday morning at her home on Walkley Road.
Rehan Abraham — a.k.a. Illen Kanmani — was at her residence in the 1800 block of Walkley between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Sunday, but went missing at some point after that.
Abraham was described as East Indian and 5-8, with brown eyes and shoulder-length black hair that has red tips. She has tattoos on an arm.
Police, saying in a news release Wednesday that there were concerns for her safety, asked anyone with information about Abraham’s whereabouts to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestoppers.ca .
