Six taken to hospital after five-vehicle crash on Highway 7 near Perth
Three people were taken to hospital with “potentially life-threatening” injuries after a multi-vehicle collision Sunday evening on Highway 7 just east of Perth.
Just after 5:30 p.m., officers from the Lanark County OPP detachment responded to the crash in Innisville that involved a total of five vehicles, police said in a news release Monday.
Six people, ranging in age from 17 to 78, were injured in the collision, with one person’s condition remaining “possibly life-threatening”, police said Monday. The other people hurt in the crash were treated at hospital and released or would be released at some point Monday, police said.
The investigation continues with assistance from OPP collision reconstructionists and technical collision investigators.
